Human Needs Crisis Network

The Human Needs Crisis Network is a new initiative facilitated by Charleston Outreach in partnership with church leaders from around the Tri-County area (Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester), and Trident United Way.

Partnership churches will network in geographic areas to handle day-to-day basic human need crisis scenarios with the aim of moving individuals and families from that crisis and into stability.  Annual training will be provided to enable churches to respond to regular requests for assistance with confidence, consistency, collaboration, and a compassionate vision that goes beyond the symptoms.

The aim of the Human Needs Crisis Network is to create a Tri-county wide safety net for individuals and families in crisis.  With a coordinated and planned response the churches of the Tri-county area can help eliminate unnecessary duplication of services and make a lasting difference in people's lives.
