Ministry Descriptions
The hope of all ministries is to utilize creative means to connect with people so as to gain an opportunity to display and share the love and presence of Christ!
- Construction – Begins at 8AM and concludes mid-afternoon. The work is typically painting, but also could include roofing, demolition, carpentry and yard cleaning. Teams work together to build relationships and unity.
- Multihousing – Volunteers work with children, youth and adults in these multi-family communities. They may choose from many different activities, i.e. Bible Clubs, directing arts and crafts projects, conducting sports clinics, assisting with tutoring, creative arts, and much more.
- Prayer-walking – As you walk the streets of Charleston, let God guide your prayers for the people you pass in the homes, churches, businesses, on the streets, etc. Let Him open your eyes to the needs, seeing them as He does and showing you how to minister to those needs.
